Use bathroom sconce lighting for practical and decorative reasons. The lights of the chandeliers are reflected in the ceiling, providing a soft light, ambiance of the room. The sconces are decorative and should match the rest of the decoration in the bathroom. Traditionally, wall sconces are placed on either side of the mirror in a bathroom to provide adequate lighting while using the mirror.
The height of the wall sconces will depend on the people who use the bathroom. Ideally, the sconces should be at the same height. In bathrooms for children, this rule does not have to apply and the sconces should be fixed at a height for general use 66 inches from the floor to the center of the luminaire. If the appliqués are the only source of lighting around the mirror, put them at face height about 60 inches from the ground.

If you are installing fixtures on each side of the mirror in the bathroom, use the center of the mirror to determine the distance between the fixtures. Apply place between 18 and 20 inches on each side of the center line of the mirror. In bathrooms where you will install more two wall sconces flanking the mirror, use a distance of 36 to 40 inches between the sconces, and keep the same distance between sconces throughout the space for even distribution of light.
